The Saints secondary played a ton of man-to-man coverage and picked off Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill three times. If the Saints can force a veteran quarterback into that many mistakes, imagine what they’ll do to a rookie.

There were always going to be growing pains in Carolina. While rookie first-overall pick Bryce Young has a ton of potential, he’s going to need some time to adjust to the rigors of the NFL. Young completed 20 of 38 passes for 141 yards a touchdown and two interceptions in an up and down debut.

The rookie signal-caller, who slipped to third in the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds after Week 1, was often under pressure behind an overmatched offensive line. Additionally, Carolina could struggle if corner Jaycee Horn misses extended time. Horn will undergo surgery on his injured hamstring and will miss Monday Night Football and at least the next four weeks. Carolina’s secondary depth will certainly tested by the likes of Olave, Thomas, and Rashid Shaheed.
